Breaking News!

We have inside information that the Tokonatsu Website may be getting re-designed! Now all the information we have so far is that it there may be a floating central panel over a fixed background image, and a dramatic cutdown in the number of sections. It may also be coloured Lime Green.

Now as far as we know, these are all just suggestions that are being put forward, but it looks like there may be a general liking to the ideas so far! So we may be seeing an all new Tokonatsu ^.^

As we get the news, we'll keep you all posted!

Hi Guys,

As well as M Pro and Rezal sorting out all the pretty pictures for you all to see. I will be gathering all the video footage so I can edit it all and then hopefully have a video to show you all from this years event. I know M Pro filmed the Masqeruade as well as the Ending Ceremony, plus other random bits and bobs. So it will be mucho fun to put it all together for you XD

Me and M pro are going to work really hard to get this year's Pics up for you as soon as possible. We do however need everyone who's taken pictures or video to kindly send them through to either rezal@hotmail.co.uk or Mpro@tokoretreat.co.uk

I'm not sure if credit can be given in the pic section, but if not, I'll make sure a list of everyone contributing is put up here in the news section :)

If you find the pics are too large to send via e-mail, some are planning to burn them to disc and send them to us. If you want to do this also, let us know, and I'll pass you on our address in a PM/Email

So the sun sets on another year at Tokonatsu, the tents are packed, the attendees are all on their respective way home, and we all have a little time to reflect on how the year went.

Well, I must say, i think it was another brilliant year, with lots of excitement and drama! With more injuries than I can remember, We've had some ups and downs, but it all came together for another memorial year!

We had some awesome cosplayers this year too, a big congrats to the winners of the masquerade, and the ready steady cosplay. One that Stood out for me amongst the crowd though was Sano's Cosplay of the Anime head girl (I'm sorry man, i can't remember who you where playing!) making one of the most unique cosplays that I have seen in a long time! Big thanks to Foxy for making all this go smoothly!

The events went smoothly, if not always to schedule, but hey, that’s to be expected! With the first successful run of CTF in its 3 year history, the groundwork was also laid for some exciting new events to carry on through to the next years! With all your continued participation, Miradus, Snowking and hopefully the return of Kat next year, we will have even more exciting events to look forward too!

SD, Daryl and Wraith once again provided an excellent schedule of Anime, in the new and improved ventilated Anime Tent, and of course there was the Rock Band sessions in the Barn! Thanks to Sakuralight for all his effort in the AMV Discos, and everything else he helped in over the weekend!

Thanks to George for registrations and all her help there, as well as myst, and everything he does as chairman! Thanks to all the gophers, and Charmew/Petey for running them as efficiently as ever!

Thanks to Glenny and Anton for the Bring and buy, SAS for being the over all handyman and for saving middle-earth, and the kitchen staff for feeding us!

Um, and thanks to everyone I missed and to everyone that went!

M Pro was awesome as always for providing the epic pool, and all the lighting that was provided for the Toko-R village, and for his transportation of us to and from site. not to mention the Epic trip to A+E to help the fool who thought jumping a fire was a good idea!

Thanks to Maz for all her running around and getting stuff for us, you own sis!

We also had a lot of new faces, including Laura, Kyle, Mitch (oldie, but your new now ;) ) Garry, and others that made this Toko Awesome, and we wouldn't have another without you!

There was Rain as well, but hey, it made a good "Just a Minute" round where with Baka-Neko winning it for the glory of the best house ^.^ and myself enacting revenge on JacktheCake and his musical numbers! One all mate! ^_-

There was Chinese Maijong that rocked, and Pen & Paper RP that unfortunately I missed, but heard was good!

There was also rumour that the elite R.O.F. Rangers struck again, but their tales are best left to Legend, and their exploits to tales by a camp fire, passed on from one ear to another...

I'm not sure what else to say, except it was good to see friends of old again, and I will miss you all dearly! Tokonatsu is one of my great loves, and its all because of all the great people that i know there!
